About
the Chamber
The Steelville Area Chamber of Commerce was
officially formed in 1982. Since that
time, the Chamber has grown in membership and now proudly sponsors many
yearly
events in Steelville.
The Steelville Area Chamber of Commerce is
very active in the community. Some of the
yearly Chamber Sponsored events include: Mrs. Dogwood Festival held in May,
Spring
Junk-O-Rama held in June, Freedom Fest held July 4th, Harvest Festival held
in
September, A Golf Tournament held in September also, Fall Junk-O-Rama held
in
October, Christmas Home Tour and Children's Christmas Pageant held in
December.
The Steelville Area Chamber currently
consists of 66 members made up of businesses,
churches, and individuals. Dues are paid annually in July. The current
officers are:

Vice President - Peggy Wynn
Secretary - Judy Helmering
Treasurer - Don Gummersheimer
